Our Mechanical Engineering Program at Suubi Skills, empowers students with the technical knowledge and practical experience to succeed in Uganda’s growing automotive industry. With 40% of the class comprised of young women, we strive for an inclusive learning environment that challenges stereotypes and equips all students with valuable skills.

What We Teach

• Vehicle Repair and Maintenance: Theory and hands-on training covers the repair and maintenance of various vehicle systems, ensuring students can handle a range of real-world scenarios.
• Diagnostics and Troubleshooting:Students learn to identify issues using diagnostic tools.
• Safety and Quality Control:Emphasis on safety protocols and quality standards prepares students for professional work environments.

Real-World Experience

Our students have the opportunity to gain practical experience through school trips to a Kampala garage, where they observe professional and apply their skills. This experience not only builds confidence but also prepares them for successful careers in mechanics.
