Hairdressing Program
Our Hairdressing Program introduces students to professional grooming tachquires, preparing them for careers in Uganda’s vibrant hair and beauty industry.
What We Teach
- Hair Care: Students master a variety of hairdressing techniques, including cutting, styling and hair treatments.
- Styling Techniques: By the end of the program, students are able to style braids, twists cornrows and faux locs.
- Customer Service: The program includes essential training on professionalism, ensuring students are ready to work directly with clients.
Real-World Experience
Hands-on practice both within our workshop space and at our partner salon in Kampala, builds students’ confidence and proficiency, allowing them to work with real clients and refine their skills. Graduates of our Hairdressing Program leave ready to join the industry or even start their own business.
