Uganda located in East Africa, is also called the Pearl of Africa. 85% christian, 40% of those catholics and 12 % Muslim. 27% mixing traditional ancestor beliefs with Christianity. The culture of Uganda is made up of a diverse range of ethnic groups.
Uganda is ethnologically diverse, with at least 40 languages in usage. Luganda is the most common language. English is the official language of Uganda, even though only a relatively small proportion of the population speaks it.
The children we are supporting are spread all over Uganda, one in Western Uganda at the moment, and a couple of them in the central region. The women’s groups that we are so far supporting are also located in central Uganda, Mukono District.
All our projects are aimed at helping directly the local people irrespective of religion, tribe or gender, or other orientation.
